Document Requirements

• Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity)

• Completed online ETA application form

• Recent passport-size photograph (digital upload)

• Proof of travel (round-trip flight tickets, itinerary)

• Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or invitation letter)

• Financial documents (bank statements, salary slips, ITR)

• Employment proof (letter, leave approval, ID)

• Travel insurance covering stay (recommended)

Visa Process

• Visit official portal eta.gov.lk.

• Fill online ETA application form with personal and travel details.

• Pay visa fee online (credit/debit card).

• Submit application and receive confirmation email.

• Wait for processing (usually 24–48 hours).

• Download approved ETA (PDF format).

• Print ETA and carry along with passport when traveling.
