Choose a course and a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) that fits your academic goals.

Apply to your chosen college or university and receive your official Letter of Acceptance.

Open a GIC account in a Canadian bank and deposit CAD $20,635+ to cover your first-year living expenses.

Undergo an upfront medical examination from a panel physician and schedule your biometrics appointment.

Submit your application online via the IRCC portal. SDS applications are processed faster for Indian students.

Valid Passport: Ensure validity covers the duration of your study.
Letter of Acceptance: Final LOA from a Canadian DLI.
Language Proficiency: IELTS (Academic) or PTE/TOEFL scores (SDS requires IELTS 6.0+ in each module).
Proof of GIC: Certificate of $20,635+ Guaranteed Investment Certificate.
Tuition Fee Receipt: Proof of payment for the first year of tuition.
Academic Records: Marksheets, degrees, and certificates of previous education.
Statement of Purpose (SOP): A strong essay explaining why you want to study in Canada.
CAQ: Only required if you are applying for a university in the province of Quebec.
