Document Requirements

Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity)
Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) from an Australian education provider
Letter of Offer from the institution (before CoE is issued)
Proof of financial capacity:
- Bank statements showing funds for tuition, living expenses, and travel
- Evidence of regular income (if applicable)
English language proficiency test results (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE Academic, etc.)
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) policy details
Academic transcripts and certificates from previous studies
Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) statement explaining study purpose and intent to return
Police clearance certificate (if required)
Health examination reports (medical check-up as per Australian immigration requirements)

Visa Process

Apply to an Australian institution and receive a Letter of Offer.
Accept the offer and pay tuition deposit to get a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).
Create an ImmiAccount on the Department of Home Affairs portal.
Fill the online visa application form (Subclass 500).
Upload required documents (passport, CoE, financials, English test, OSHC, GTE statement).
Pay visa fee online (AUD 710 as of 2025).
Submit application and receive confirmation.
Wait for processing (time varies; typically 4–6 weeks depending on case).
Receive visa grant notice electronically, linked to your passport.
